Results of the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 calibre rimfire rifle shoot on Wednesday, January 2. The weather was hot with a light breeze from the north west changing to the north east at 10kpm. This shoot was a Fly target shoot held over 25 metres with a maximum score of 200 points, using a .22 calibre rimfire rifle fitted with a scope, a 50 metre Crow target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75 metre Mosquito target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.

This shoot was a Buffalo target shoot over 25 metres with a maximum score of 270 points, using a .22 calibre rimfire rifle fitted with a scope, a 50 metre .22 target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75 metre Fly target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.

The next .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be on Wednesday, January 16 at 3pm. The next Sunday shoot will be on January 20 at 10am.
Anyone wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can take part after filling out a P650 form at the club. Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the sporting clays will be the New Year shoot on Saturday, January 12 starting at 4:30pm. This will be a 75 target non graded handicap five stand shoot.
On Sunday, January 13 a 100 target non graded handicap field shoot will start at 9:30am.
