The Dead Singer Band will kick off the Lost Legends Showcase at 9pm, featuring live performances of some of the country’s biggest departed musicians including Bon Scott, Billy Thorpe, Michael Hutchence, Marc Hunter and Chrissie Amphlett.
The Dead Singer Band’s members include Colin Burgess, his brother Denny Burgess, Roger Faynes and Vanessa Lea.
Colin, AC/CD’s first drummer, was twice voted Best Drummer in Australia and an ARIA Hall of Fame inductee for Masters Apprentices.
Colin’s brother Denny who also performed in Masters Apprentices as well The Throb are joined on stage by Roger Faynes from Stevie Wright’s band, and Golden Guitar nominee and vocalist Vanessa Lea.
The Showcase aims at offering music lovers an interactive experience saluting our most loved and famous rockstars.
Delivered alongside the live music component, is a ‘rockumentary’ which includes previously unseen video footage and interviews with intimate reflections on several legends.
The Lost Legends Showcase aims to be different from other tribute shows in that members of Dead Singer Band toured and worked with every artist featured.
Tickets can be purchased from www.123tix.com.au and searching for Aussie Lost Legends.
