Temperatures for the remainder of this week, according to the Bureau of Meteorology are again expected to reach 40 degrees and above.
Last week the temperature reached more than 40 degrees in Forbes for four consecutive days with highs from Tuesday until Friday of 44.4, 44.5, 45.4 and 45 degrees.
According to the Bureau today’s temperature should range from an overnight low of 24 to a top of 40 degrees.
There is a slight (30%) chance of a shower in the afternoon. Winds north to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light in the late afternoon then becoming northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening.
On Wednesday we should see another high of 40 degrees, as is the case for Thursday before another real scorcher on Friday with an expected maximum of 43 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday will see no relief with tops of 40 and 42 respectively and overnight lows of 27 and 28.
