Around 75 competitors turned up for the annual event based around a 30 metre and 50 metre swim.
Organiser David Sly said that it was a wonderful day despite the heat and the Australia Day ambassador was terrific.
The annual swimming event was split into a junior and senior category for both the 30 metre and 50 metre swim.
Swimmers were asked to nominate a time for both of the swims, with prizes awarded to the swimmers who were closest to their nominated time.
The Tom Drane Memorial Trophy was presented to the person with the best aggregate score across both of the races.
Tim Prior took out the Tom Drane Memorial Trophy being 0.54 seconds outside of his nominated times across both races. Scott Mattiske and Geoff Drane had the two next best times with 0.69 seconds and 0.80 seconds outside of their nominated times respectively.
In the junior 30 metre race Andie Hodder came in first place with 0.01 seconds outside of her nominated time. Luca Bet took out second place with 0.06 seconds outside of his nominated time while Gus Field came in third with 0.30 seconds out of his nominated time.
In the junior 50 metre race Tess Worland took out first place with 0.37 seconds outside of her nominated time, while Andie Hodder came in second with 0.38 seconds. Jemma Hodder rounded out the top three in the junior 50 metre race with 0.40 seconds outside of her nominated time.
Nick Field took first place in the senior 30 metre swim with 0.05 seconds outside of his nominated time with Geoff Drane and Brad Worland taking out second and third places respectively with 0.10 seconds and 0.17 seconds outside their nominated times.
In the senior 50 metre swim, the top three went to John Rennick, Scott Mattiske and Ben Coles with times of 0.01, 0.08 and 0.11 seconds outside their nominated times respectively.
The Diggers Club will be heading to Condobolin on February 10 to take part in the annual AIF Western District event before hosting the annual Pup Cup Memorial on February 24.
