Police beat: detectives investigating death, rider injured in motorcycle crash

Police detectives are investigating the death of a man over the weekend.

A police spokesperson said the 48-year-old man was found, deceased, on a property south of Forbes.

They are investigating the circumstances.

A young person was taken to Forbes Hospital with injuries after a motorcycle crash on Saturday evening.

Police said the rider was on Limestone Road when the accident occurred about 8.30pm.

Police are investigating the theft of a car from a Clarence Street residence in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The owner woke to see the vehicle being driven away about 2.30am, a police spokesperson said.
