Former Socceroo legend Paul Wade will be heading to Forbes on Saturday June 30 to talk about soccer. He will be joining soccer enthusiasts at the Forbes District Soccer Club's annual gala day as the Football Ambassador.

Wade is one of the longest-serving and most-decorated Socceroos of all-time. He was a former Australian skipper who made almost 120 international appearances in a 10-year career.
Wade represented his country at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea and also led his side through two World Cup qualifying campaigns in 1990 and 1994.

The Forbes District Soccer Club's gala day is expected to attract over 500 players from around the region including Canberra, Goulburn, Dubbo, Bathurst, Parkes, Young, Cowra and Griffith.
