All team representatives are asked to please update their team sheets, as sometimes the ladies and mixed games may be played on the same time slot, and team representatives are asked to write on their team sheet, if any of their players are playing in the two competitions.

This is the only way to ensure that ladies playing in both competitions are not playing at the same time.

This week, players will not be able to take the court unless they are registered. Registration includes registration to NNSW and Forbes NA, plus the competition levy of $40 per player, and $20 per player for the second competition.

Junior players may use their Active Kids Voucher for full registration and competition levy. The canteen will be operating.

A roster for volunteering was discussed at the last meeting, and volunteers from the players are helping the committee, by drawing up the roster each week. All teams are asked to please check the roster when it comes out.

The Monthly meeting of the Forbes Netball Association will be held this Thursday March 21, at 7pm at the Forbes Services Memorial Club.

All team representative must attend and will receive two competition bonus points.

Umpiring duty

Team representatives are asked to please check each week for umpiring duty.

Teams representatives asked at a meeting last year, if a badged umpire could go with the player umpiring, for support and to learn.

This is working quite well, and takes the pressure off the team to supply umpires.

Last week, Stingers did not supply one umpire and the team will have to pay their $50-00 fine, for not umpiring for the first time, before they can play this week. Please pay at the office, thank you.

The team will lose two competition points, and give their opposition in their next game, a five goal start.

Without umpires, no games can be played. Thank you volunteer umpires.

Boys Gala Day

A free Boys Gala Day will be held on Friday, at the netball courts from 3.30-6pm.

All boys will receive a free netball, and they are asked to please email Secretary Melissa secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com with a booking so the afternoon can be planned with the number of players attending.

Saturday Junior Mixed competition

All players wanting to play in the Saturday Junior Mixed competition must have their names in at the office by this Saturday at the Mixed Gala Day.

The Gala Day on Saturday will be held from 10 am till 12 noon, and is the start of the Saturday Junior Mixed competition.

If players are unable to attend this weekend, parents must email Secretary Melissa on above email.

Boys and girls must put names down, so players can be put into teams with their friends, after the Gala Day.

Help with registrations will be available on Saturdays.

Saturday Junior Mixed competition is free to all players when they use their Active Kids Voucher.

Times for the mixed competition which will start with rounds on March 30 are NetSetGo at 9-30 and Divisions 1 and 2 at 10-30.

Boys and girls aged from NetSetGo to under 15 will play on Saturdays.

Volunteers will be needed to help run the competition, with coaches and umpires needed for games, plus help with setting up, so games can be started on time.
