The pair raised $950 on the day, bringing the total amount they have raised to $2,100 by Tuesday, March 19.

Netty said they had plenty of support from their Bunnings family, with many team members making their way to the store on their morning off. 

The local community also rallied to support the pair with an estimated 50 people down at Bunnings for the event.

George said the local community is amazing even though they are doing it tough themselves.

Along with shaving their heads for the Leukaemia Foundation, George has also shaved his beard after receiving a $300 donation.

Both Netty and George said they would like to thank Eliza from Hair with Style for donating her time to shave their hair for the event.

A few other brave people had their hair coloured in support of George and Netty, while Ashden Berry joined the pair in shaving his head.
