It's that time of year again, and Havannah House hosts the 2019 Easter Festival this Saturday.
Apex Park is set to be covered by several thousand chocolate eggs for the ever popular Easter egg hunt. However, there is more to the festival than just chocolate eggs, with music, good food and fun games all starting at 10am.
Lyn Ward from Havannah House said there will be plenty of fun activities for people to do, including egg and spoon races, sack races, thong throwing, tug-of-war and three-legged races.
Much like last year, the Easter Egg hunt will be separated into three age groups and will start in separate areas of the park. The three age groups are separated into Kindy to Year 2, Year 3 to Year 4 and Year 5 up.
Mrs Ward said they are keeping the format like that so everyone gets a fair go.
There will be hot and cold drinks for everyone in the family as well as a free sausage sizzle for anyone that gets hungry.
Mrs Ward said the event is free to take part in, and should be a great family day out.
