YWCA Encore is an exercise program designed specifically for women who have had breast cancer surgery.
It is based around land and pool exercises to help strengthen and tone your arms, shoulders and chest, regain mobility, and improve general fitness.
Through guest speakers the program provides information on breast cancer resources, healthy living choices and links to local service providers.
It also provides the opportunity to share experiences with other women who have been treated for breast cancer in a relaxed environment.
The program is being offered in the Forbes community this year as a weekly session on a Friday from 9:45am until 12md running for eight weeks from May 24.
They will be using the Forbes CWA hall and the local heated pool.
It is free to ladies who have experienced breast cancer at any time in their lives.
Registration is essential and can be made through Dianne Egan ph 0428535843.
