A total 180 people raised more than $15,000 through the local event, with proceeds towards research and to support people living with motor neurone disease (MND).
The funds will support MND NSW, the organisation that supports people living with all types of MND, their families and carers.
The organisation: advocates for people with MND; provides loan equipment including electric wheelchairs, communication devices, electric beds and walking frames; provide education, workshops and seminars; and raises funds for research.
Motor Neurone Disease Association of NSW Fundraising Manager Kym Nielsen said this walk was the largest they've ever had at Forbes and it was a great day out.
It's the fourth time the event has been run in Forbes, with a break in 2018.
Mrs Neilsen said they would like to thank the Forbes Shire Council and the local event sponsors.
