The District 9700 Conference saw more than 300 Rotarians from Bathurst to Lake Cargelligo and Parkes to Wagga head to Griffith to celebrate the achievements in the community.
Forbes Rotary were awarded the Alan Josey Youth Service Award for their highly active support of youth in Forbes and the district.
This support includes sponsoring an exchange student and pushing for driving simulator to visit both high schools in Forbes.
Other youth activities which Forbes Rotary have been involved in include helping refurbish Forbes High School's Wellness Centre and raising $20,000 to help Northside Chapel get a new bus to transport disadvantaged kids.
It's business as usual for Forbes Rotary according to Rotarian Chris Finkel and they will be continuing their community involvement and programs.
Mr Finkel said they will be supporting the PCYC"s launch of a weekly 'Fit For Life' program which will cater healthy breakfasts and fitness programs every Wednesday before school.
Rotarians will also be operating a sweep both at the upcoming camel races with all proceeds going towards youth programs.
Mr Finkel said Forbes Rotary is looking for new members to help them with their drought support work, youth support and overseas programs.
