Painters and sign writers began arriving on Thursday and by evening the background for the two murals was completed.
Despite the much needed rain on Friday the painters were back on the job by Saturday morning.
The talented artists continued with the two murals all week-end whilst a steady flow of onlookers were in attendance to view the murals unfolding.
The last of the visiting painters competed the murals on Monday and what fantastic works they have created.
The 'Faraway Tree', the story by Enid Blyton, will be placed on the Hill Street wall of the Public School, the top building of the school grounds.
The Farmers Mural will take its place in the Telstra yard, between the old Post Office building and Head On In, Amanda Mongan's hairdressing business.
Sign writer BJ said that he enjoys getting out in front of the public to show his skills which he still uses as his trade - a trade that has been dying out because of modern methods.
There was a great variety of stall holders at the markets with only positive comments from the shoppers, and the stall holders themselves, who have all said they will be back.
The visiting artists and sign writers have all grown to be like family to the locals who accommodate them each year.
They enjoy coming to our local Murals Meet where they enjoy a 'catch up' with like minded artists.
The murals committee members and visitors enjoyed an evening meal at Cafe 51 on Thursday, the Bowling Club on Friday and the Central Hotel on Saturday, which was followed by fun award certificates handed out.
Many thanks go out to the CWA ladies for all their catering over the week-end, sponsors and supporters, the Murals committee and all the very hard working helpers, but most of all to the visiting artists who have now completed 29 beautiful murals to showcase our little Village of Murals.
They have now captured many aspects of life in Eugowra past and present, from the bushrangers to the shearers, Eugowra Granite, the baker and fruiterer, and the theatre and these are all on display around the community for visitors and locals to enjoy.
The car Show held in conjunction with the Murals was held in the Memorial Park and was visited by a couple of hundred people.
The cars on display ranged from 1927 rods to modern V8's - there was definitely an array of cars for everyone's taste.
