Piper Brian Tisdell and the Red Bend Catholic College drummers led the march into the Red Bend Catholic College hall to get the event underway in time-honoured tradition.
This year's the marching was of particularly high standard and judges had a hard job selecting the recipient of the Forbes Advocate trophy.
The team of tiny marchers from Forbes Learning Ladder were the winners.
Events including walking races and novelty events got underway with plenty of fun for all participants.
The day ended with some classy dancing by all.
Special thanks from the day's organiser Dianne Decker go to Jacqueline Coady, Red Bend Catholic College for the excellent venue, OCTEC and David Bernardi for their sponsorship, Molly Neilsen, piper Brian Tisdell and the amazing students who volunteered to help with the running of the events.
She can't wait to see everyone back again on the second Wednesday in May 2020.
Currajong Disability Services rallied to take honours in walking races, musical chairs and a dance-off.
With Donna Apps, Thomas Davis and Jye Jeffrey dominating the walking races and Wade Cannon talking home the chocolates in musical chairs, it came down to the dance-off to decide the ultimate winner and right on cue, Patty Nolan waltzed onto the dance floor and lit up the large friendly crowd at the Red Bend College Hall.
Patty's repertoire of flips, hand stands, moonwalks, foxtrots and lido shuffles stole the show in front of an enthusiastic gathering.
"The day isn't so much about who won as everyone is a winner here," said Thomas Davis from Currajong Disability Services.
"Today is a celebration and a special day on the Forbes and disability calendar.
"We can't thank everyone enough from the other providers to Red Bend for having us here today," he said.
"Can't wait to come back next year!"
