Forbes local and National Library of Australian historian Rob Willis led more than 40 people on a gentle stroll through Victoria Park and around the historic square in perfect Autumn weather.
Music and memories, tales tall and true, were on the agenda on Sunday morning.
The tour started at the rotunda with tunes by local brass quartet, The Dotty Quavers.
The stories included the many characters who have influenced the well-known items within the Park, such as the pathway from the Court House directly in line with the Vandenberg Hotel.
Many stories were told with the audience adding their memories to the mix.
