There is still time for players to join in the fun of playing netball. New players can come to the courts on Saturday or email Secretary, Melissa email secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com and be placed into a team.
All the players have been improving their skills, and thank you to all the helpers who are coaching, managing and umpiring the games for the players.
Friday Netball: Unfortunately, Friday Netball was cancelled last week because of the weather, but everyone will be back on the courts this week, to practice and improve their netball skills.
Friday netball is free to all boys and girls, and players do not have to be registered to participate. Friday netball is played from 5pm till 6pm each week.
The Kids Cancer Project: The FNA is staging a fundraiser for The Kids Cancer Project on June 15, where everyone will join in the day by wearing their PJs and joggers for their games on the Saturday.
The day will include a 100 club fundraiser with numbers sold on Saturdays.
Donations of home cooking will be sold in the canteen to raise funds, and everyone will be asked for a gold coin donation. Stay tuned for more information.
