The Lions' executive met at Monday night to process their next move following the round six clash, where Tremain was allegedly king hit by an Eagles player and collapsed to the ground before being taken to hospital.

No players were handed yellow or red cards from the incident.

The Lions have seven days from last Saturday to cite the Eagles player.

The Lions have already submitted an incident report - that's a Central West Rugby Union requirement - and Stone said the Orange City committee is currently reviewing the citation process CWRU has given the club.

"It is in a delicate stage at the moment. We are doing something. We owe it to Josh," Stone said.

"He's been traumatised by the incident and as a club we'll look at what we can do."

Any potential citation will be forwarded on to the CWRU's independent citing commissioner, where it'll be determined if there's a case to be answered.

If that step is taken, then CWRU will call a judiciary hearing. But any potential hearing won't likely be until next week.

The Eagles were leading the contest 31-15 in the second half when Tremain - celebrating his 200^th top grade appearance for the club - was allegedly punched, collapsed, and was then attended to by ambulance personnel called to the Cowra Rugby Ground.

The match was abandoned and the round six result is yet to be made formal.

Cowra travels to Forbes on Saturday to take on the Platypi and Orange City hosts Bathurst Bulldogs at Pride Park.
