Elsewhere, Wellington's winning run has seen them climb the rankings while back-to-back losses means it's not good news for Nyngan.
POWER RANKINGS: Week one | Week two | Week three | Week four
Here's this week's rankings:
1. Dubbo CYMS (last week: 1)
They're still not at their best yet but they continue to get the job done.
The simple fact is CYMS' base performance is better than everyone else's. That's not to say other teams' best performances aren't better than the Fishies, but the men in green and white are just starting from a higher level this season.
It's not often a team scores more than 30 against CYMS and while Parkes did that on Sunday and even led with 15 minutes to go, that belief and unity captain-coach Jarryn Powyer speaks so much about drove his players to a higher level. They're a consistency machine.
Already favourites for the minor premiership, a win at Nyngan next weekend would be another big statement.
2. Wellington Cowboys (last week: 4)
Three wins in a row now for Wellington and things are starting to look good.
Players are beginning to feel settled in positions and the depth is getting stronger and stronger. The Cowboys acquired Les Boney from Nyngan last week and he went on to score a hat-trick on debut in reserve grade and that kind of pressure from below will only drive the top players on harder.
Only the Forbes Magpies have scored more points than the Cowboys this season and after toughing it out for periods against Macquarie on Saturday, they put the foot down and streaked away in a commanding performance.
Things are looking very ominous at Kennard Park. Next weekend's match at Forbes could well be one of the best of the season.
3. Forbes Magpies (last week: 5)
It's hard to read into form too much after a game against Westsiude but the defending premiers did exactly what they had to on Sunday in a 104-0 victory.
Plus five-eighth Mitch Burke went to have a punt at Dubbo greyhounds after playing at No. 1 Oval on Sunday and that on its own is enough to see the Magpies climb these rankings.
In Sunday's game, Tongia Fox made his return and more regulars are expected back in the coming weeks. The Magpies are into second on the Group 11 ladder now on for-and-against and we haven't even seen their top side play together yet.
It's a scary thought. Again, next weekend's game is one worth attending.
4. Parkes Spacemen (last week: 2)
The Spacemen are up and down these rankings like a yo-yo a bit and while they've dropped two spots after a loss to CYMS, it was by no means a terrible performance.
The Spacemen, who haven't quite put together a full 80 minutes in recent weeks, began poorly at Apex Oval and while they stormed back into the game and almost pinched it there's no doubt the lapses are something coach Brent Wood and captain Chad Porter will be keen to stamp out.
Porter said his side is right up there with the best and while the side's forward pack was lacking at times without Brandon Tago on Sunday there's no doubt about it, the Spacemen are going to make the opposition work for any result this season.
5. Nyngan Tigers (last week: 3)
Worries for the Tigers? After three commanding wins to start the campaign it's now back-to-back losses.
The latest was a two-point defeat a Narromine in a match they would no doubt have been confident of claiming max points in.
Injuries are hurting the Tigers, the loss of Sam Simmons in particular would be affecting Justin Carney's gameplan.
Carney described the loss to Wellington as a "kick up the arse" and after a second straight defeat the Tigers are getting a real idea of just how tough the competition is this season.
6. Narromine Jets (last week: 7)
The Jets are on the board!
You can't help but feel happy for Jets captain-coach Dylan Hill after the huge amount of work he's put into this team since taking over.
Hill said all you need to know about he and his players is they were nearly crying after a first win of the season. This side really cares about its performances this campaign.
This side has pushed just about everyone they've come up against this season and a second win from six rounds should be recorded this weekend when the Jets host Westside. That will put them one win outside the top five.
7. Macquarie Raiders (last week: 6)
At what time do we start questioning the Raiders?
There's so much talent in this side but still the only win recorded is a lopsided victory over the languishing Westside.
The Raiders have scored 196 points this season but 126 of those came against the Rabbitohs. Outside that they're averaging 15 points a game and that's not enough to win many games in this try-heavy competition.
It also doesn't help the Raiders, outside the Westside game, are conceding an average of 44.5 points. That's massive and tells you all you need to know.
Macquarie needs captain-coach Wes Middleton back from injury but there's no certainty he'll be there for Saturday's clash with Parkes.
8. Dubbo Westside (last week: 8)
Coach Paul Hausia spoke about setting little goals and while it might not be much of a goal, this team needs to stop conceding triple figures.
There's some people in the local rugby league community questioning what Westside are doing in the competition and while they don't understand the good this club is doing off the field, things really do need to start getting better on it to quieten those voices.
The players have to be admired for the way they turn up and hold things together each week, but it's time to start tightening up the defence a little and finding a way across the try-line.
