Dates have been brought forward in 2019, with school term 3 targeted as Building and working towards 2020.
All teams will play through until the end of the competition, including semi finals and finals, with teams in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 to play out the finals.
All perpetual trophies must be returned this week.
Coaches of all the teams are asked to collect a nomination form for the Edna Jenkin Memorial Junior Encouragement award.
Nominations for the Chris Read Memorial Award are also being taken. This award to presented to an adult, not on committee, who has helped out during the season.
Nomination forms are also at the office for collection.
PJ Day: This Saturday will be a fundraiser for The Kids Cancer Project. This will be a fun day, when uniforms will be replaced with PJs and we will raise lots of money. Everyone is asked to dress up in their PJ's and joggers to raise funs for the charity.
Prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed team, Best dressed NetSetGo, Best Dressed in Divisions 1 and 2.
All players are asked for a donation of $2 if they are dressed up, and a donation of $4 if not.
A barbeque will be operating, and a volunteer is needed to cook. Please email Secretary Melissa email secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com if you can help.
Donations of baked good are also needed and these will be sold at the canteen. Thank you.
Monthly meeting: The June monthly meeting of the FNA will be held on Thursday June 20, at 7 pm at the Forbes Services Memorial Club. Agenda items must be sent to the secretary.
Friday Netball: Friday netball will continue until the end of the term. Friday netball is for all players who would like to learn more skills. The session runs from 5 pm till 6 pm.
A Gala day is organised for school term 3 at Orange and teams will be entered for the day from Forbes. Dates to be advised.
Age divisions will be advised, but players in NetSetGo could also be invited to play on the day.
New courts: The new netball/basketball courts are now being played on, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the safe playing surface, the umpire lines, and the nets on the goal rings.
Everyone is reminded of the numbering of the courts, with court 9 being the closest to the toilet block, and then courts 10, 11 and the basketball/netball court numbered court 12.
