A list of names will be taken to travel to Orange to see a play at the Civic Centre titled "Rainbows End" on Friday September 13. We have 25 seats booked at this stage and will travel by coach.
The committee decided to award Jean Coffey with a Life Membership. She was the original Treasurer and 30 years membership and attendance at our meetings is quite an achievement. She was presented with her certificate and badge by committee members at her home. Well done Jean.
Our guest speaker was Lyndee Lynch an upholsterer. She delighted members with her tools of trade plus an old chair in her demonstration of her work. A nurse, then a framer of pictures, she learned her trade and with her husband who French polishes furniture she has come from Sydney to Mudgee and Forbes and met many interesting clients in her work. She was thanked by Ilma Davis and presented with a small gift.
Hostesses for the next meeting will be Robyn Wilson and Val McConnell.
The guest speaker for our meeting on Friday 28th will be Robyn Favelle, we hope to see you all there. - Colleen Liebich
