Friday started with a chilly -2.3 and Saturday was colder again at -3.2. Sunday saw a low of -1.6 degrees.
While it's cold, it's hardly record temperatures: Forbes' lowest June morning on record was -6.4 degrees on June 19, 1998.
The big frosts and chill-you-to-the-bone fogs have given way to sunny days and we can expect more of those.
Forbes airport recorded a maximum of 9.3 degrees last Thursday and 10.6 Friday, with the wind keeping it cooler than that.
But Monday was heading for a top of 17 with expectations of 18 and 19 degrees later this week.
Unfortunately the cold, clear conditions have also remained dry, and Forbes has only measured 11.6mm of rain so far this month.
