With Australia's Biggest Bogan Festival (ABBF) just over a month away, Parkes local and ABBF co-organiser, Brad Gibson, has made an admirable contribution to Currajong Disability Services by donating a car top raise funds for charity. The car, a superb example of a black matte Hyundai Lantra, will be known as "The Bogan Mobile" and could be yours to own come festival time.

Currajong Disability Services' Dane Millerd, said that the "Bogan Mobile" will be a highly sought after souvenir from the inaugural ABBF. "The Bogan Mobile will be on show at the festival at the Railway Hotel, Bogan Gate on Saturday, July 13," he said. "Every Bogan there will be allowed to sign it and the car will be put up for auction on the day with proceeds to go to Currajong Disability Services".
It can't go through the Macca's drive-thru as the windows don't work and the front end sounds like a meat grinder.

Dane said the car will make a great memento of the occasion for the lucky owner. "It's a one of a kind and the starting price for the auction for this beast is $500," Dane said.
For co-organiser Brad Gibson it is all about aiming up for charity and making ABBF a success. "The Bogan Mobile is your typical redneck thrasher," Brad said. "It can't go through the Maccas drive-thru as the windows don't work and the front end sounds like a meat grinder".

The Bogan Mobile will be painted flat black ready for the big day and Dane, along with Currajong Disability Services, were glowing in their praise of the donation. "Big thanks to Gibbo for the kind donation," he said. "Such acts of kindness are incredible and well-received. It's just another example of the spirit in this town and we are extremely appreciative".
Along with the funds raised from the auction, a percentage of the proceeds from the event will also go to Currajong Disability Services along with a portion given to the Bogan Gate community.
Outside of the Bogan Mobile auction there are plenty of ways you can be involved in ABBF and non-stop events happening around the region. For more information about the festival and to download a copy of the full program of events, visit www.boganfest.com.au.
