Twenty five swimmers from the Fins were recognised for meeting the times and criteria set by the program, being awarded at gold, silver, bronze or blue standard.
The times set to qualify for each standard vary between age groups.
The Junior Excellence Program was established in 2007 to recognise junior swimmers who are on a key part of their swimming journey, learning and refining as they develop into senior swimmers.
Each year Swimming Australia releases the JX criteria and standards for the forthcoming season which swimmers, parents and coaches can use as targets.
The Junior Excellence Program was aimed at swimmers aged between 9-16 years, but beginning in the 2019-2020 season, the eligible age range has narrowed to 9-13 years.
The Fins swimmers who were recognised for their performance during the 2018-2019 swimming season include.
Gold: Lachlan Wallace. Silver: Gracie-May Lander, Ellie Mattiske, Leroy McNamara Tess Worland and Oscar Worland. Bronze: Luca Bet, Claudia Hodder, Jemma Hodder, Andie Hodder, Jonah Little, Jaya Smith, Isla Worland and Jakieal Ware. Blue: Alexander Boyton, George Field, Stirling Francis, Mac Glasson, Summer Hurford, Tom Mattiske, Jade McKeown, Finn Miller, Bridie O'Malley, Ellie Pointon and Jaylin Ware.
Juliet Hodder from the Forbes Fins said that Lachlan Wallace received the Gold JX Standard and met the Tier 1 criteria for 50m Freestyle after recording a time of 35.46 at the NSWCPS (Polding) Championships on March 27.
"He had progressively improved throughout the season and his results were a testament to his work in training and determination to improve."
Mrs Hodder said the Forbes Fins acknowledge not only the JX recipients, but also the remaining 189 squad swimmers who took part in the summer season.
"These swimmers also improved their technique, capabilities, water confidence and results in what was a very productive summer season."
