Forbes Pony Club hosted their annual Charlie O'Connor Showjumping and Dressage championships on Saturday, July 13.

Over 30 Riders travelled from Narrandera, Orange, Gundagai, West Wyalong, Condobolin, Cowra and Cudal to compete in three rounds of showjumping and two dressage tests.
The A Grade Associates Showjumping Champion was Katie Townsend from Forbes Pony Club and A Grade Champion was Indianna Cornius-Randall from Narrandera.
The C Grade Champion was Ellie Glasson, D Grade Champion was Holly Jacobson and the E Grade Champion was Zoe Seckold.
The following day saw over 40 riders compete at the Annual Gymkhana in Show riding events, Sporting, Dressage and Showjumping competitions.
The Age Champions were Beginners Ring Aaliyah Haynes from Cudal Pony Club, 7 and under 9 years Jade Haynes from Cudal Pony Club. 9 and under 11 years was Indigo Francis from Forbes Pony Club, 11 and under 13 years Indianna Cornius-Randall from Narrandera Pony Club.
The 13 and under 15 years Age Champion was Meg Lenehan from Orange Pony Club, 15 and under 17 years was Lily Mathews from Cudal Pony Club and Associates was won by Katie Townsend from Forbes Pony Club.
Katie Townsend has also had a fantastic school holidays also representing Forbes Pony Club and Zone 11 at the recent State Showjumping Championships in Denman. Katie was lucky enough to come away with a win in won of her classes at the event.
Forbes Pony Club thanks the volunteers, judges and supporters, along with the many local businesses who donated goods for a raffle.
