Results of the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters 100 target five stand shoot held on Sunday, July 14. This shoot the targets were randomly chosen for shooters from each station.
The weather was cold with a south westerly wind at 15kph to 20kph and a temperature of 9 degrees.
The shooters who attended this shoot came from Forbes, West Wyalong, Caragabal, Dubbo, Bathurst and Condobolin.
The results of the 100 target five stand shoot were; First. Cameron Smith (Bathurst hcp12) 23-17-20-15 total 75 hcp total 123; Second. Craig Hopkin (West Wyalong hcp12) 18-17-14-17 total 66 hcp total 114; Third. Glen Bloink (Dubbo hcp 8) 20-18-18-19 total 75 hcp total 111.

The next shoot for the sporting clay's will be the monthly shoot on Saturday, August 10. This will be a 75 target five stand shoot starting at 1pm.
On Sunday, August 11, a 100 target graded field shoot will be held for the Tim Lynch Memorial Shield starting at 9:30am.

All members are reminded that all rimfire rifle shoots are postponed until further notice.
Members will be notified when working bees will be held to get the rimfire range ready to start shooting again. When all the work is finished the new 200 metre centre-fire range will be ready to be used.
All target shooters are welcome to attend. Anyone wishing try rifle or shotgun shooting can take part after filling out a P650 form. Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.
