Kristen Woods said it was an enjoyable nine days of dance starting on Saturday, July 13 with the 8yrs and under and finishing with the group sections.
"A highlight of the Eisteddfod was the bond that developed between all of the competitors and parents that have travelled from all over to attend our Forbes Eisteddfod."
"They have formed some wonderful friendships and are very supportive of each [other] backstage," Ms Woods said.
Ms Woods said Forbes Eisteddfod pride themselves in supporting this friendly atmosphere during the event.
The Eisteddfod committee and competitors thoroughly enjoyed having Nicky Manego come down from Brisbane to adjudicate this year.
"Nicky was very knowledgeable across all styles and was full of great advice for the performers. They enjoyed taking the Scholarship classes and learning from her as well as her kind personality she demonstrated as she watched them perform on stage," Ms Woods said.
The Eisteddfod committee would like to extend thanks to all sponsors and volunteers that assisted with the running of the Eisteddfod. A special mention to Karen Glennan who was there everyday for dance and the music sections at town hall.
