Red Bend hosted the annual Lou Grimmett Memorial games again on Saturday, August 3, with players across all age groups wearing pink "Lou" socks.
A full day's competition saw players from Under 8s through to Senior League tag take the College fields.
The Under 16s stopped for a minute's silence to honour Lou before kick-off in the contest for the Lou Grimmett Memorial Shield.
Red Bend 16's donned special guernseys and shorts for the special event, and claimed the win 30-10 to retain the Shield.
Proceeds from the gate, a gold coin, were donated to Canassist and the Red Bend Family Assistance fund.
