The heartwarming journey by six young Sydneysiders with intellectual and learning difficulties to Orange to attend a debutante ball will feature in a TV documentary to be screened on Wednesday night.

The one-hour documentary Love Me As I Am will air on SBS at 8.30pm.
LiveBetter Community Services senior marketing officer Sim Madigan said they were approached by a film company two years ago seeking a regional aspect to the film about the people's quest for love.
Mrs Madigan said the six arrived by train and joined 15 debutantes from Orange and one from Wagga Wagga at LiveBetter's Deb Ball last November which was filmed as the culmination of the documentary.
She said they made lasting friendships with one couple planning to marry.
"I encourage everyone to watch the documentary, you'll laugh, may shed a tear and will certainly feel a whole lot of love," she said.
"We definitely have plans to do it again. It takes a lot of preparation," she said. "All of the Sydneysiders who came up want to go to the next one.
"Everyone enjoyed meeting new people. It was such a wonderful event."
