Tickets sold out on the night, with parents, carers, grandparents and friends all excited to see the children performing on stage.
School Captains Annaliese Green and Oakley Fliedner began the evening with a welcome to the audience, followed by an Acknowledgement of Country by Oakley Fliedner, Grace Godden and Delilah Karaitiana.
The Showcase included 23 different performances from classes, individuals and dancing and singing groups within the school - an amazing display of the wonderful range of talent to be found amongst the students of Forbes North Public School.
The Wiradjuri Choir kicked off the entertainment with beautiful singing. The variety of acts throughout the evening ranged from traditional children's nursery songs such as "The Wheels on the Bus" to the very popular "Greatest Showman", and individual recitals from student's Eisteddfod entries.
Forbes North parent Danielle Markwort said the smiles on all the kids faces speak for themselves about how much the night was enjoyed.
"The amount of work, time, effort and love that went into each performance was easy to see."
School Principal Steve McAlister said the kids performances were absolutely fantastic and they obviously enjoyed themselves.
"It is wonderful to see all the hard work the students and staff have put in come to fruition - and the audience obviously appreciated the efforts of all the performers."
