The Men's A Plate Final was a top match. Burcher man Clint Ridley claimed a fourth set victory 15-11, over Wayne Bilsborough, who won tough matches to make the final.
Ladies A Final; A very entertaining match where Michelle Bentick was down 13-15, 9-15 then evened the score 15-12, 15-9, but succumbed to Alex Bayley's consistent boast winners eventually losing 6-15.
The much-anticipated Men's A Final was a contest between two of squash's best local exponents.
Darryn Piper excelled in both speed and tactics, after winning two sets convincingly; he lost the third to his opponent, Parkes player Jay Kross 9-15 but returned to court and sped to a great fourth set victory 15-5.
What a night! Young Henry Kross from Parkes at nine years of age is I believe, the youngest player to win the Mens C Grade Champs Final.
Our current competition resumed Wednesday night.
