Parkes was one of nine towns in the Central West selected - and thrilled - to host the Blunt Side Sk8 Park Tours last year.
The group, who tour across regional NSW, bring clinics and competition days to skaters, scooter riders and bike riders in rural areas.
2018 was the first year the group decided to start a Central West competition.
Parkes has been given the privilege to host the competition for a second year.
The series will be visiting the Parkes Skatepark on Saturday, August 24 between 10am and 2pm and will include a number of events, prizes and giveaways.
The Blunt Side Skatepark Series will be running across the region from August through to January, with this year's event acting as a qualifier for the state titles.
The competition includes Opens, Women's, 16 and Under Mixed, and 12 and Under Mixed divisions.
Whether you skate, scoot or BMX, there's space for everyone to compete.
And spectators are very welcome!
Blunt Side Sk8 Park Tours organisers Rick Konza and Blake Gander said the series is all about changing the reputation around skateparks and their users.
