Central West police district detectives and Forbes police have arrested a Queensland man wanted on warrant in relation to a murder investigation in Queensland.

A police spokesperson said a 29-year-old man remains in custody after being arrested at Forbes police station on Friday afternoon.
An intruder has fled without taking anything after waking the occupant of a Battye Street home in a break-and-enter.
Police are seeking any witnesses who can help with investigations into the break-in, which occurred about 1.10am Sunday.
The male intruder is described as being about six foot tall, and of solid build. He fled the scene after disturbing the occupant.
Police are also investigating the theft of about $5000 worth of equipment and copper cable from a construction site.
Drills and other tools were stored in a container at Colin McKenzie Park, police said, which was broken into between 5pm Saturday and 8am Monday.

A truck and a four-wheel-drive collided on Lachlan Valley Way on Friday morning, but the drivers have escaped serious injury.
A police spokesperson said the driver of a Landcruiser was taken to Forbes hospital by ambulance but has since been released.
The crash occurred about 12km out the road, and fire services were also called in to help clean up spilled diesel at the site.
Police investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Police advise they have issued a number of infringement notices for stealing from a Lachlan Street retailer in recent weeks.
With one to three attempted thefts from the store a week, police advise that offenders are being observed by staff and captured on CCTV.
A number of arrests have been made, and infringement notices to the value of about $300 do apply.
Two mobile phones and a smart tablet have been handed in to Forbes police.
The items were located near a bin in Farnell Street on Friday afternoon.
