There were dozens of free activities for the kids, including a crash course, face painting and a unicorn land.
In the shade of Lions Park, families were encouraged to enjoy a picnic and there was a suite of food and coffee providers on site.
Music from local performers, including Maddi Collits, Georgia Sideris and the Mainly Music team, got the kids up and dancing.
Kristen's Dance Studio also took centre stage with a series of solo and troupe performances.
It was a great day out, with Forbes Shire Council delighted to return the event to a Saturday so the whole family could be part of it.
"It was yet another amazing Teddy Bears Picnic this year, with over 2000 people attending this great community event," Forbes Shire Council's Community and Tourism Manager, Nina Hooper, said.
"In tough times such as the current drought, Teddies is a perfect low cost, family friendly event for everyone to enjoy.
"Of course the event wouldn't have been the success that it was without the help we received from Maree Yapp from Schools As Community Centres and Danielle Welsh from Forbes North Public School."
