Bowlers were joined by punters and party goers at the 'Bowlie' on Tuesday where there was plenty of cheering during the 'Big Race' while out on the greens earlier there was the usual banter amongst bowlers.

Twenty two took to the green for a 'morning roll' before lunch which was superbly prepared and served by the ladies committee and presentations.
Card draw for the winning rink went to Loris Stewart and Allan Phillips with a 20-13 win over Pat Markey and Peter Mackay while runners-up came from a thrilling game of triples where Jan Waugh, Kay Craft and Rob Priest were 14-13 winners over Jan Waugh (who played for both sides), Robyn Mattiske and Billy Hodge.
In other games of pairs Glenys Ryan and Ralph Waugh won 18-15 over Kay Toohey and Colin McKay; Annette Tisdell and Ron Thurlow won 22-16 over Gail McKay and Trevor Currey while in the last game Angela Dent and Brian Tisdell proved too strong for Jenny Currey and Barry Shine 17-11.
During presentations best fascination award went to Veronica Rebellato while John McCullough took the award for the best bow tie.
