The Spring Fair will run from at 5pm to 8pm at Forbes Public School and is a fundraiser for the school.
Teachers solicited sponsors far and wide who were keen to provide prizes to cheer up struggling farmers and rural families.
This year, the school has created a giant prize pool to give community members who purchase a ticket to have a chance of winning a prize.
Prizes include a 60 litre ice box, PlayStation, Garden Pack large tool box full of clothes and gear, handbags, Picnic Pack with gazebo, pamper packs, toy packs and many more.
We also encourage families to come along to provide a fun night out for the children. There will be plenty of fun activities hosted by Forbes Public School students. Activities include Yabby Races, coin toss, tyre change, footy toss, ice-cream decorating, hair spray and face-painting with Fleur Hurford.
Students dressed up in mufti clothes on Friday to raise money for the prizes for the game zone run by students at the Spring Fair.
While you are there you can grab a bite to eat and watch local performers such as the Parkes PCYC Gymnasts and Kristin Woods Dance Studio.
Thank you to our sponsors and to you the community who we are certain will spread the word.
