The Forbes Domestic and Family Violence Committee invites locals to join them this Friday, November 22.
There will be a march down Lachlan Street, with walkers asked to assemble in Cross Street at 10am.
The march will set off for Lions Park at 10.30am, with an official opening and welcome at the Lake-side park at 10.45am.
There will be guest speakers, live entertainment and activities down at Lake Forbes and all are welcome to attend.
There will also be a free barbecue at lunchtime and the opportunity to sign the White Ribbon pledge.
The White Ribbon oath is, "I will stand up, speak out and act to prevent men's violence against women" and the day was created to raise awareness of domestic and family violence.
