Eugowra Public students enjoy Sydney excursion

Eugowra Public School Years 3-6 had an incredible excursion to Sydney.

They visited Mt Panorama and Scenic World on the way and stayed at the Rocks for two nights.

They climbed the Harbour Bridge Pylon, went to Taronga Zoo on a night excursion, took a ferry to Manly for an ice cream, went to Darling Harbour and the Aquarium, Madame Tussaud, the Power House Museum and a walking tour of the Rocks wearing convict outfits.

A choir group in Sydney held a concert to raise money for drought-affected communities. About 35 people visited Eugowra and both schools received a significant amount of money.

The money will go towards erecting a permanent shade for the newly established garden.

The relay team of Macey, Hannah, Ben and Levi competed at Homebush where they finished a creditable fourth - an experience they will always remember.

Principal, Nick Doyle, said it was great to see so many family members attend Grandparents Day. The visitors assisted children with a variety of activities including card-making, tree and vegetable planting and cooking.
