The Astril club bowlers won all five of their games in the weekend competition that drew 28 pairs - 56 bowlers - from all over the State.
They won with five plus 53, ahead of Kerry Davis and Sue Hart from Lake Cargelligo who also had five wins plus 33.
Event organiser Leisa Burton said the visitors had had a wonderful weekend.
Regular competitors returned from as far afield as Penrith, Queanbeyan, Sawtell and Gulgong for the annual event.
In addition to offering some good prize money, the carnival is an opportunity for them all to gather at the start of the festive season.
"It all went really well," Leisa said.
Everything was well received from the local hospitality to the condition of the greens.
Even the weather cooperated - mostly.
"It got a bit windy but it wasn't too bad," Leisa said.
She thanked the Forbes women's bowling club, Scooter Andrews, Forbes Sports and Recreation Club and all the volunteers who helped all weekend with tasks like selling raffle tickets.
