Media personalities Georgie Dent and Craig Hamilton will be sharing their stories and encouragement for others at the now annual events in Trundle and Forbes.
Georgie Dent is a journalist, author and one of the leading voices for women in Australia.
She is the contributing editor of Women's Agenda, a columnist in The Sun Herald and The Age on Sunday, contributes to Marie Claire, appears regularly on television and is a passionate advocate for gender equality and mental health.
Her first book, a memoir titled Breaking Badly, was published in May 2019 and was reprinted on the same day due to 'unprecedented' demand.
Craig was assigned to work as a broadcaster at the Sydney Olympic Games but - on the eve of the Games - suffered a psychotic episode and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
He spent 12 days in hospital and, since his recovery, has become one of Australia's most high profile speakers on mental health and lifestyle.
He too is a published author, releasing Broken Open in 2004 and A Better Life in 2012.
Grease and Oil Change organisers Melissa Brown and Cherie Stitt are delighted to have them for the 2020 events - on Thursday, February 20.
They're encouraging people to put the date in their diary: the event will be in Trundle in the morning, and Forbes Town Hall in the evening.
The shift to the centre-of-town venue is an intentional one, with the organisers hoping more people will be part of it and starting talking about mental health.
Now the conversations have got started in our rural communities, Melissa says, the organisers are seeing how widespread the need to break down the stigma around mental health is.
"People have wondered if the event is just for farmers - it's for everyone," she said. "We hope everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to hear two great speakers."
While the events are changing up a bit, they will still involve some good food and time to talk.
Support organisations will also be in attendance with resources, connections and information.
