The 18-year-old has represented Victoria and Australia numerous times.
But her latest accomplishment was a dream she had wanted to fulfill for many years.
Davis-Tope recently moved from Bendigo back to her native Canada to attend university, pairing her study with playing ice hockey.
Davis-Tope plays with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks in the Ontario University Athletics league, the first Australian to ever do so.
"It has been a really good experience, every team is different and tough to play against," Davis-Tope said.
"They are all very physical teams, it's been hard to win games, but our team is doing so well together in terms of building and improving."
Hockey is in Davis-Tope's blood, with older brother Jayden a goalie and twin brother Charlie also a keen player.
She has been playing for the best part of the past decade, and her love for ice hockey only continues to grow.
Davis-Tope is currently back in Bendigo, on break from university where she is half-way through her first year studying kinesiology.
"I like how fast hockey is and it's different to other sports," she said.
"No two games are ever the same as there are so many different elements and aspects to learn."
A typical week at university includes juggling her studies with daily practice on the rink, in addition to four gym sessions.
Davis-Tope's options for the future are open, with aspirations to one day play in a professional league a likely option.
"I want to come back to Australia to coach and give back to the people that gave me the opportunities which have helped get me to where I am today," she said.
"I would also like to be an athletic trainer and work with a sports team of some sort, but also going all the way and playing professional ice hockey would be unreal."
