Police appeal for information on theft from shearing shed

Shearing equipment has been stolen from a shearing shed on a Scotts Road property at Gunning Gap.

Four overhead shearing set-ups and associated equipment have been stolen along with a grinder, a police spokesperson said.

The theft occurred between Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9 and police encourage anyone with information that could help with their investigations to contact them on 6853 9999.

A driver was taken to hospital as a precaution after a single-vehicle accident on the Lachlan Valley Way on Saturday morning.

A wool baler the man was towing behind a tractor rolled several times after the towing set-up snapped in the accident.

A police spokesperson said the man was not injured.
