RDA Central West Chair Christine Weston, is inviting Cabonne women, just like herself, who are ready to take their big idea, business or enterprise to the next level, and are looking for an amazing support crew to help, to express an interest in applying for The Seed Scheme in 2020.
"The Seed Scheme has a track record of success, as it is a program powered by rural women and supports the growth of women-led businesses across rural Australia.
"The Seed Scheme already supports over 700 women lead enterprises in regional Australia. It doesn't matter if you are in Canowindra, Molong, Eugowra, Mullion Creek, Manildra, Cudal, Yeoval or Cumnock this opportunity is for you," she said.
"This can be a new business idea, or an established business who is looking to expand and go from strength to strength".
The program starts with a six-week 'Business Activation Intensive' which sets the foundations of business support which is ongoing for successful applicants for the following 12 months.
Successful applicants are also linked with a mentor and a network of leading rural women who are the previous alumni of the Seed Scheme.
Supported by Regional Australia Bank The Seed Scheme is enabling the development of 700 rurally based, women-led enterprises nationwide. Injecting $17.5 million or more into the rural economy and returning enormous social value to the participating members, partners and their communities.
This program will offer 10 scholarships to help develop and grow enterprises across the Cabonne Shire, and is made possible through the generous support of The Seed Scheme and Regional Australia Bank.
