Forbes Rugby Club President's Lunch Committee Chair Chris Sweeney said they are expecting around 1000 people at this year's lunch.
This year's special guest is well-known comedian Akmal Saleh.
Mr Saleh was born in Egypt and arrived in Australia with his family in 1975 at the age of 11. He has been performing stand-up comedy since the early 1980's and has toured around Australia and internationally.
The annual lunch attracts people from around the region for good food, good company and a good time.

The President's Lunch is the rugby union club's major fundraiser, with a number of community groups also benefiting from the proceeds each year.
This year, organisers have organised a raft of things to be sold at the fundraising auction.
Mr Sweeney said they will have a painting by local artist Rosie Johnston, along with a dinner for 10 at Ester restaurant in Sydney and another at Eat Your Greens in Eugowra up for grabs.
Also on offer at the auction is a race weekend and wine tour package in Mudgee. This year, organisers are also auctioning off a holiday trip to Hamilton Island which includes airfare.
Tickets are not on sale yet, with more information to be released through the Forbes Rugby Union's Facebook page.
Mr Sweeney said they would like to thank Forbes Shire Council and the cricket association for being able to host the event.
