Outstanding rugby union talent Lilyann Mason-Spice has been named Forbes' Young Citizen of the Year.

Lilyann is already on her way to Sydney to start training with the NSW Waratahs women's team, but she made a special effort to be in Forbes on Australia Day to accept the honour.
The young star has racked up some amazing accolades in a few short years - and 2019 was no different.
She was instrumental in the establishment of the first local women's rugby team, playing for the Platypi even as her talent was recognised further afield.
Lilyann was selected in the Central West Rugby Union representative side, which was undefeated at the country championships, and her individual performance saw her named player of the tournament.
She was selected in the undefeated NSW Country rugby union representative side and the Canberra University 7s side.
She travelled to Fiji in the Australia A side for the Oceania rugby women's championships and was named in Rugby Australia's Dream Big Time Indigenous development squad.
"Her dedication and work ethic make her an inspiration to to her teammates and supporters and we look forward to one day cheering her on at a national level," council general manager Steve Loane said, in reading her award citation on Sunday evening.
Lilyann thanked those who nominated her for the honour.
"Hopefully 2020 is - just like 2019 - a big year," she said.
