Alex Hanley, Molly Fuge and Jake Tomlinson qualified to compete in the National Ranch Sorting Nationals, while Jake and Josiah also qualified to compete in the Junior Rodeo Nationals.
The National Championships took place on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 at Tamworth's AELEC arena.
It was a big weekend for Alex who managed to secure her position in first place by the end of the weekend and was named the 2019 RSNCA National Beginner Champion.
Alex said she had six runs all up over the weekend with cattle that were slightly challenging to handle.
Molly Fuge also had success to celebrate at the end of the titles. She took a fifth place in the #4 Handicap class, made the top ten in the all levels class, ninth overall in the rookie class and ranked number 22 in the whole country.
"All of the competitors were really good, showing good sportsmanship and good teamwork," she said.
Jake said he went well at this event, and the steers treated him better than last year.
In the Junior Rodeo, he rode both nights, securing eighth place on the first night and an equal third place on the second night. Jake managed to secure an average score of 68 based on his results throughout the year.
In the ranch sorting competition, Jake was the first rider out on the first night and got one steer on his first run.
A cow slipped through on his second run resulting in no score but he was in better luck the third time around, yarding three cattle to take out fifth place overall.
Alex and Jake also took part in the Grand Parade which took place before the Senior Rodeo.
Josiah competed in the Junior Rodeo Nationals and was able to complete two of his three rides. He received 68 points for his first ride in the finals and got 63 points in the mini bulls ride.
He said his favourite thing about taking part in the rodeo was his first steer ride.
"I was little disappointed that I didn't make time on my third ride for the finals but I will just have to work hard to do well this year and be at the finals again next year," Josiah said.
