The representative side has had a pretty spectacular season, says coach Jeff Nicholson, and sealed it last Sunday with two T20 wins in Cowra to qualify as Southern zone semi-finalists.
The competition takes in Parkes, Dubbo, Wellington, Cowra, Condobolin and West Wyalong and Nicholson says the side has met all challengers this summer with a near-unblemished card.
"They've only been beaten once this year, this Sunday should be a good game," he said.
Last Sunday saw Joe Nicholson lead the way with the bat in the morning's first game against Cowra, scoring 45 of Forbes' 87 runs.
The side only lost five wickets in that stand, and tight bowling from all combined to contain Cowra to 69 off their 20 overs.
Forbes 12s went on to meet West Wyalong and it was bowler Cayden Metzling who was the stand-out on the score card.
He claimed 4/ 14 - taking a hat trick in that - in a blistering bowling attack that saw West Wyalong bundled out for 34.
Dempsey O'Connell was our top scorer in that game, retiring on 11 runs as Forbes claimed the win.
This weekend the Under 12s will play at the Lake-side ovals, either South Circle or Grinsted, from 10am.
Head on down and cheer them on!
