This year Forbes Services Memorial Club will host another morning of entertainment with two guest artists, raising funds for Forbes Can Assist.
Graeme Howie from the Howie Bros, and country entertainer and comedian Robbie Edge are performing their 'Morning Melodies' show on Monday February 17.
The show will start at 10.30am and run through to midday.
The club will be offering their usual lunchtime specials at the bistro for those who may wish to stay for a meal after the show.
Tickets are $15 per head, available at the door on the day, and part of the proceeds does support our local CanAssist branch.
Forbes Can Assist president John Schrader says the annual concert is a good morning of music and fun, and the local group appreciates the artists' ongoing support year to year.
All funds raised for Forbes Can Assist are used to support local families who are having cancer treatment with their expenses.
NSW Seniors Festival will be taking place 12-23 February 2020 and Forbes Shire Council is also planning a variety concert with proceeds to the CWA for drought relief.
That will be at Town Hall from 2pm on Sunday, February 16, more information to come.
It might also be a good week to try tai chi, which is free to participants at the Forbes Youth and Community Centre at 10.30am on Tuesdays.
No experience needed, just wear flat shoes and comfortable clothing.
