Well, there's a new opportunity to see more.
To meet exhibition and distribution demands for the 'The Legend of Ben Hall', writer-director Matthew Holmes had to remove an hour of footage for the theatrical cut.
Not only did this compromise his original vision for the film, but many wonderful scenes and characters were left on the cutting room floor, never to be seen again ... until now.
Holmes is seeking support to deliver his director's cut of the multi-award winning bushranger epic, giving you the complete Ben Hall movie experience.
'The Legend of Ben Hall -Director's Cut' will restore around 60 minutes of new and extended scenes, creating an new and enriching movie experience for the fans, Holmes says.
The 'Directors Cut' will feature more action, more drama and a more darker tone. Running between 180 - 210 minutes, it will be the most epic Australian bushranger narrative ever committed to the screen.
The project exploded thanks to a crowd-funding campaign five years ago and Holmes will offer the same opportunity now.
He's hoping to raise at least $90,000 through a Kickstarter Campaign, live online now.
