Forbes College for Seniors to launch local 2020 program

The Forbes College for Seniors is excited to be starting a new year of activities and is open to welcoming new members.

The branch is an affiliate of the worldwide organisation of the University of the Third age and is open to any person over the age of 50 years who is not in full time work.

Our first meeting will be held at the Uniting Church hall on Browne Street Forbes on 18th February at 1:30pm where the activities and courses for the first semester of 2020 will be presented to the members.

These courses have no cost and are conducted by locals.

Outings to the Theatre, historic buildings and short break overnight tours also run by Forbes College for Seniors do incur a cost which is kept to a minimum.

The college is a terrific place to meet people, make friends, keep busy and get that brain forming new pathways through learning.

Come along and join us.
