But there is good news: rain above Wyangala has seen the dam's level rise above 11 per cent.

Bureau measures for Lithgow (4.4mm), Cowra (3.6mm) and Young (1.4mm) but there were also reports of heavy falls and flash flooding between Cowra and Canowindra.
Police were controlling traffic at two points on the Escort Way between Forbes and Eugowra on Tuesday afternoon, stopping vehicles where water was rushing over the road.
The Middle Trundle Road closed, as well as The Bogan Way between Trundle and Fifield.
The unpredictable weather could continue a few more days, with tops of 30 to 31 degrees and the chance of a storm the forecast for Forbes for each day through Sunday.
